WN: Inconceivable barbarity!
Thank you, President Biden, leader of the Barbarous Western World Order. How can you sleep in peace? There is a place in hell for you. There is a place in hell. . .
And what was gained?: Raging vengeance sated against 2.2 million people, whose land, infrastructure, buildings are now reduced to rubble, and Gaza now utterly devoid of being able to support the survivors. With multiple thousands murdered. With multiple thousands of survivors growing up to now only wanting to let bygones be bygones, and embrace of course the friendly hand proffered by Israel, going forward? (Half of Gaza is made up of children.)
And you imagine there will be no retaliation? And you think anything true, honourable, right, pure, lovely, admirable, excellent or praiseworthy (recognize the list, Biden?–by one of your saints named Paul, who adds: think on these things) was even remotely achieved? Pardon me Mr. Pitiful, just what Planet do you inhabit? And just what are you thinking on these days?
But you and your murderous henchman Netanyahu have again established one thing for sure: MIGHT MAKES RIGHT! Until of course it doesn’t, and a MIGHTIER MORE RIGHT displaces America. . .
And you surely have heard of the Great Assize coming at the end of history? You know, the one where the King says:
Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers of Mine, you did for Me.
And who are these “least?”:
For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you took me in, I was naked and you clothed me, I was sick and you looked after me, I was in prison and you visited me.’
I don’t see anywhere in the text where an American exception adjective is added, do you? Don’t get me wrong though: I do believe in American Exceptionalism! America is to date the most exceptionally brutal Empire the world has ever seen. Or were they just a few fun firecrackers–left over from the Fourth of July celebrations–your Made-in-America exports were being tossed into Gaza?
Sleep well, Barbarous Biden, going forward. May your days and nights be merry and bright–with visions of exploding ordnance dancing in your head–America’s grandest by far export to the watching world. . .
Oh yes! And don’t forget to remind us how evil Russia is (you, child of America the Beautiful)–and all America’s enemies straddling the Globe! Which is in fact all, if they have what America wants but won’t share. . .

Israel has launched what appears to be the first phase of a massive ground incursion into Gaza, vowing that Hamas must be eliminated or somehow rendered irrelevant, even at the expense of smashing Gaza to pieces.
But what then? Israeli officials have reportedly told the Biden administration that they haven’t engaged in any serious postconflict planning. That’s probably because none of their options is good and, despite a plethora of fantastical proposals, nobody is going to step in to bear the burden of Israel’s impossible dilemma or, put more simply, clean up its mess.
Israelis may feel that it doesn’t have any responsibility for realities in Gaza, given that Hamas has controlled the territory since 2007. But the rest of the world understands that the occupation has continued, albeit from beyond the borders of the Strip. Israel has all the while kept tight control over Gaza’s coastal waters, its airspace, its airwaves, and all of the crossings into the Strip except for a small one maintained by Egypt. Israel has made almost all of the major decisions regarding Gaza since 1967—including the reckless and self-destructive decision to bolster Hamas in order to split the Palestinian national movement between Islamists based in Gaza and secular nationalists in the West Bank.
